DIRECTIONS

  • In large saucepan over high heat, combine potatoes, garlic and chicken broth. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
  • Add vegetables; continue simmering 10 minutes or until potatoes are fork tender.
  • Drain off chicken broth; reserving � cup. Add milk and butter to drained pan. Using a potato masher, smashed potatoes, adding reserved chicken broth as needed to reach desired consistency. Salt and pepper to taste.
