DIRECTIONS

  • Place flour in a shallow dish and beaten egg in a second shallow dish. In a third shallow dish, combine bread crumbs, cheese, Italian seasoning and garlic powder; salt and pepper to taste.
  • Dust fillets with flour, dip in egg and coat with breading; set aside.
  • In large skillet, heat oil and butter over medium heat. Add fillets to skillet and sauté, turning once, until fish flakes easily with a fork (about 10 minutes per inch of thickness).
