Surf ‘n Turf

with Garlic Cream Sauce

DIRECTIONS

  • In medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add in garlic, shallots and Old Bay seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sauté 1 minute.
  • Add in ½ cup wine; bring to a simmer. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until reduced by half. Add in cream and chives; continue simmering until sauce has thickened slightly (about 1 minute). Set aside and keep warm.
  • In large pot or roasting pan with cover heat remaining ½ cup wine over medium-high heat. When steaming, add crab legs and cover. Steam crab for 5-10 minutes or until heated through.
  • Meanwhile, place steaks on a broiler pan and pepper to taste. Place broiler pan about 4-inches below broiler set on HIGH. Broil, 9-11 minutes, turning once or until medium-rare (145°F). Remove from oven and salt to taste.
  • Serve crab and beef with garlic cream sauce.
