Grilled Chuck Steaks


  • In small bowl, combine oil, vinegar, shallots, thyme and garlic; salt and pepper to taste. Place steaks and marinade in a 1-gallon recloseable food storage bag; seal. Toss to coat.
  • Refrigerate a minimum of 6 hours or up to 24 hours, tossing occasionally.
  • Prepare grill to medium heat. Remove steaks from marinade; discard bag.
  • Place steaks on grill; grill, turning once, 14-19 minutes (depending on thickness) or until desired doneness is reached (145°F for medium-rare; 160°F for medium).
