Chocolate Dipped Pretzels

Chocolate Dipped Pretzels

DIRECTIONS

  • Place chocolate and 1 tablespoon shortening in a microwaveable bowl. Microwave (HIGH) at 30 second intervals, stirring each time until completely melted (about 1½ minutes).
  • Place pretzels into a 1-gallon recloseable food storage bag; carefully pour chocolate over pretzels. Seal bag; toss to coat pretzels. Pour out onto cooling rack; separate.
  • Place caramels in another microwaveable bowl. Microwave (HIGH) at 30 second intervals, stirring each time until completely melted (about 1½ minutes). Drizzle melted caramel over pretzels; sprinkle with sea salt.
  • Refrigerate several hours. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
